To speak to the NCAA:
- #1 Duke beat out #8 California by 15 points
I really think that Duke played like shit in this game. A watched this one with me and we both agreed that Kentucky would kick their ass. However, my prediction is that Duke will get to the Final Four, mostly because they are once again the number 1 seed in the, IMHO, easiest conference.
- #4 Purdue knocked out #5 Texas A&M by 2 points
This game went into overtime and Purdue barely beat Texas A&M. There were a lot of offensive lulls by Purdue. Texas A&M probably could have sent this game into double OT if they had went for a layup rather than a 3-pointer as the last shot. I think Duke will defeat Purdue but it will be a sloppy, disappointing game.
